REMO Participates in the 9th ISDA 2023 in Bologna

REMO was present at the 9th International Symposium on Data Assimilation (ISDA) 2023 in Bologna, Italy. The event took place between October 16th and 20th, 2023 and was attended by Prof. Clemente Tanajura (UFBA-REMO) and Dr. Filipe Costa (CHM-REMO), in addition to the active REMO collaborator, Dr. Leonardo Nascimento Lima (CMCC). The meeting brought together experts in data assimilation, both in theory and in applications in the atmosphere, oceans, ice and land. Impressive advances have been made by the community in severe weather and employing hybrid AI techniques. The meeting was attended by Brazilian experts such as Dr. Haroldo Fraga Velho (INPE), Dr. Ricardo Todling (GSFC/NASA) and Dr. Luis Gustavo Gonçalves (CMCC), so that Brazil as a whole showed a great presence.
