Meeting of REMO on July 2023 in Rio de Janeiro had participants of INPE

REMO group had meetings on 06-07/July/2023 in Rio de Janeiro with the main objective to update participants with ongoing initiatives in distinct institutions, particularly at Center of Hydrography of the Navy (CHM) where oceanic forecasting with data assimilation models developed by REMO are operational. Researchers of INPE were also invited to participate. REMO is cooperating with INPE initiatives on data assimilation in ocean models implementing the REMO Ocean Data Assimilation System (RODAS) in two numerical grids (South Atlantic Ocean and METAREA V).
