REMO participates in the "5th GODAE OceanView Coastal Ocean and Shelf Seas Task Team (COSS-TT) International Coordination Meeting (COSS-ICM5)" held in Cape Town, South Africa

The meeting was held from 03 to 07 April 2017 and brought together the members of the task group, researchers and other professionals working in coastal regions and their interaction with the adjacent ocean. The main objective of COSS-TT is to work in coordination with GOVST and GOOS to provide a sound scientific basis for multidisciplinary sustainable multidisciplinary activities of regionalization and forecasting in the world's oceans. The strategic objective of the task force is to help achieve a truly seamless picture, from the global scale to the coastal / coastal scale. The REMO was represented at this meeting by its scientific coordinator, Dr. Mauro Cirano, who is one of the COSS-TT members.
