REMO Participates in 2015 Layered Ocean Model Workshop

REMO participated actively in the 2015 Layered Ocean Model Workshop held at the Danish Meteorological Institute, Copenhagen, from June 2-4, 2015. REMO-UFBA researchers M.Sc. Davi Mignac and M.Sc. Filipe Bitencourt Costa presented (RODAS) for an audience of HYCOM experts in data assimilation and ocean modeling in general, including Drs. Rainer Bleck, Laurent Bertino, Pat Hogan, Allan Wallcraft, and others. The new beta version 2.2.98 of HYCOM has been presented and it is expected that soon it will be consolidated so that HYCOM 3.0 is formally offered.
