REMO participates in the V GODAE OceanView Science Team Meeting

REMO participated in the V GODAE OceanView Science Team Meeting, from October 13 to 17, 2014 in Beijing. She was represented by Prof. Clemente A. S. Tanajura (UFBA). The meeting's host was Prof. Hui Wang, director of the National Marine and Environmental Forecasting Center (NMEFC), a member of GODAE OceanView (GOV). The meeting presented recent results from all national systems and working groups, but the emphasis was on building the Strategic Plan for the period from 2015 to 2020. Among the highlights of the meeting is the creation of yet another working group, the Data Assimilation Task Team, led by Dr. Mat Martin (UK-MetOffice) and Dr. Andrew Moore (UCSC).
