REMO participates in the "2014 ROMS / TOMS Users Workshop", based in Rovinj, Croatia

The meeting was held from May 26 to 29 and brought together researchers and other professionals who make use of the Regional Ocean Modeling System (ROMS). The objective of the meeting was to present the various studies conducted in the area of ​​oceanography and the advances of the group in the assimilation and nesting systems, with the presentation of lectures such as "ROMS 4D-Var: Past, Present and Future" and "ROMS Nesting: Composite and refined grids, application ". The REMO was represented at this meeting by the researchers Dr Fabiola N. Amorim and Dr Martinho Marta-Almeida, who presented, respectively, the first results of the grid E with the insertion of rivers and the sensitivity tests performed in the S-SE grid.
