Defended the first Master thesis with data measured by the PNBOIA buoy provided by Rede REMO

Mariana Ximenes do Nascimento presented the master dissertation "Analysis of Meteo-Oceanographic Conditions in the Santos Basin Region" on 05 September 2013 in the Graduate Program in Ocean Engineering at COPPE / UFRJ, where wave data were used measured by the buoy installed in the Santos Basin by the PNBOIA, which was acquired through an agreement between Rede REMO and the Hydrographic Center of the Navy (CHM). The dissertation used the Wavewatch3 model, using as atmospheric forcing the CFSR and CFSRv2 reanalysis wind fields, to study the wave and wind climatology of the Santos Basin.
